Stantec is seeking a Transport Planner to support the development of transport strategies and business cases across public sector projects. You will turn technical evidence into informed advice through strong report writing and client-facing work.

You’ll contribute to transport strategies, economic assessments and option development while collaborating across transport planning, engineering and related disciplines to deliver project outcomes.

Qualificações

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, Geography, Economics, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline.
• An interest in transport strategy, public transport, business cases and transport economics.
• Strong report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• A logical, analytical approach and the ability to interpret data to support strategic decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage with clients, ask questions and understand their priorities.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, with a genuine interest in improving transport networks and outcomes for communities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare high-quality reports, business cases and technical documents to support transport planning and strategy projects.
• Contribute to transport strategies, public transport studies and economic assessments.
• Analyse data and evidence to develop practical, innovative and evidence-based recommendations.
• Support the development and evaluation of transport options, considering their wider economic, social and environmental impacts.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, asking the right questions to understand their needs and communicate findings clearly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across transport planning, engineering and related disciplines to deliver successful project outcomes.
