People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Transport Shift Supervisor to join our well-established client based in Castle Bromwich, WEST MIDLANDS.

Working as a Shift Supervisor for our client your benefits will be:

Day to Day Duties

Working as a Transport Shift Supervisor for our client your duties will be:

• Overseeing back-shift operations whilst ensuring timely and efficient deliveries
• Ensure strict adherence to tachograph laws and WTD by all drivers
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless operation handovers
• Monitor and report on KPI's to maintain high service levels
• Liaise with Compliance Manager for operational purposes
• Driver continuous improvement and contribute to operational excellence
• Any other reasonable task as per Operations Manager instruction

As a Transport Shift Supervisor it is essential that you have:

• Proven experience in a similar role with a palletised network or transport planning environment
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with TMS
• In-depth knowledge of tachograph rules, WTD and driver legal hours
• Solid grasp of transport compliance legislation and health and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills

What training is provided?
