Due to a new contract win, we are looking for Transport Team Leaders to join our team in Hams Hall. As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day transport operations and leading a team of clerical colleagues, drivers, and shunters.

Shifts – 12-hour shifts on a 4-week rota (including days and nights)

£ Comp + Night premium (4 Weekly Pay)

Due to a new contract win, we are looking for Transport Team Leaders to join our team in Hams Hall. As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day transport operations and leading a team of clerical colleagues, drivers, and shunters.

How will you contribute?

• Managing drivers, including absence, safety concerns, and hour management
• Investigations and disciplinaries
• Team training
• Answering phones and dealing with internal and external inquiries
• Accident investigations
• Addressing safety concerns
• Business updates
• Running reports related to compliance, turnaround, etc.
• Responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of colleagues
• Raising and checking defects

What will you bring?

• Demonstrable experience in transport/logistics
• Proven leadership to deliver a safety-first culture
• Previous experience in high-volume transport operations and/or planning
• Previous experience/knowledge of Transport Management systems
• Customer-focused attitude
• Strong communication skills within the company and with external customers
