Job summary

Veolia UK is seeking a Transport Coordinator in Lincoln. You will ensure Health and Safety remains a priority in transport operations and manage daily service delivery for vehicles and routes, maintaining close contact with drivers and customers.

The role requires strong IT skills, ability to manage a busy workload, and experience with quality management systems. The position offers Veolia benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Understand transport compliance and the Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Good communication with drivers, frontline staff and customers.
• Able to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace with a quality management system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment remains the priority within the transport operation.
• Manage daily service delivery for vehicles and routes; communicate with customers and drivers; debriefs.
• Deliver service excellence including delivery, recovery and missed lifts within company parameters; assist routing efficiencies.
• Assist the Service Manager with people management processes in line with company policies.
• Deliver Toolbox Talks to drivers and operatives.
• Conduct first stage investigations into accidents and incidents as directed.
