Job summary

Reed Boardall Group is seeking a Transport Coordinator to support our busy transport operation. The role involves coordinating loads, ensuring timely departures, and keeping customers informed.

You will work four on four off days (0600-1800) and be trained across key areas of the traffic function, with accountability focused per shift so you can own your area and drive real results. We offer a salary up to £35,000 per annum, plus a benefits package and on-going training to help you develop

Qualifications

• Proficiency in general IT systems and applications in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage workloads, time and work under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration across all levels.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Despatcher: set loads in motion, ensure on-time departures and correct paperwork.
• In-Transit: monitor deliveries, detect delays early and update customers.
• Inbound Communications: handle driver, depot and team queries promptly.
• Confirmer: confirm drivers and deliveries for the next day to reduce last-minute changes.
• Despatcher: ensure loads leave on time with correct vehicle and instructions to hit OTIF targets.
