GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Transport Regional General Manager to lead our M&S sites in Bradford, Daventry and Peterborough. You will provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of transport operations, guiding Transport Managers and senior teams to uphold standards, safety, and compliance while driving performance and growth.

The role focuses on fleet strategy, governance and regional operations, with accountability for budgets, KPIs and continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Senior leadership experience across multi-site transport, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of transport legislation, fleet compliance, operator licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing budgets, P&Ls, forecasting and contractual performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence customers, senior leaders and external bodies.
• Leadership and people development, including coaching senior managers and succession planning.
• Experience delivering large-scale change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Full UK Driving Licence and International CPC.

Can you lead large-scale transport operations across multiple sites while driving performance and compliance? Are you confident influencing senior customers and stakeholders to deliver strategic transport solutions? Do you have the vision and leadership capability to turn operational excellence into sustainable growth?

We are looking for a Transport Regional General Manager to join our M&S sites in Bradford, Daventry and Peterborough. You will be providing strategic leadership across a portfolio of transport operations. This is a highly visible role where you'll work through established Transport Managers and leadership teams, ensuring consistent standards, operational excellence and legal compliance across the region.

As the senior transport lead, you'll act as a trusted customer partner, driving performance, innovation and continuous improvement while safeguarding service, safety, compliance and commercial success. With responsibility for fleet strategy, governance and transport operations across multiple sites, you'll play a key role in shaping the future direction of the business and delivering long-term value for both GXO and our customer.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working predominately Monday to Friday but flexibility is required.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven senior leadership experience within multi-site transport, logistics or supply chain operations
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation, fleet compliance, operator licensing and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrable experience managing budgets, P&Ls, forecasting and contractual performance
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence customers, senior leaders and external bodies
• Strong leadership and people development capability, including coaching senior managers and succession planning
• Experience delivering large-scale change, continuous improvement and operational transformation initiatives
• Full UK Driving Licence and International Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
