Job summary

Tees Valley Combined Authority invites applicants for a Transport Planning Technician Apprentice. The apprenticeship offers a mix of block release at Leeds College of Building and on‑the‑job development, covering planning to implementation.

On completion, you'll be eligible for registration as an Engineering Technician via the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation. TVCA covers course fees, travel, accommodation and subsistence, and provides broad on‑the‑job experiences to grow

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old by 1 September 2026.
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 including English and maths.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge in transport planning.
