Tees Valley Combined Authority invites applications for a Transport Planning Technician Apprentice. The role involves learning through a block release at Leeds College of Building and on‑the‑job experiences, covering planning to implementation of transport projects.

You’ll work on research, data analysis, reporting, and public engagement, with a view to professional accreditation via CHIHT and Transport Planning Society routes. Driving commitment to inclusion is welcomed.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at 9–4 including English and maths are required.
• Interest in transport planning and development.
• Willingness to learn and develop through an apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of transport projects.
• Conduct research and analyse data to inform decisions.
• Communicate with partners and stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation.
• Support public consultation and engagement activities.
