Job summary

The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join a busy transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous transport planning experience who are looking for a long term position with the potential to become permanent.

The role is Monday to Friday on a rotational shift pattern. Once fully trained, shifts will rotate between 06:00am to 14:00pm, 07:00am to 15:00pm and 14:00pmm to 22:00pm.

Qualifications

• Previous transport planning experience is essential.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced transport environment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating daily transport operations.
• Allocating routes to drivers.
• Monitoring vehicle and driver movements throughout the day.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, customers and the wider transport team.
• Ensuring transport schedules are managed efficiently and accurately.
