Job summary

The Best Connection Group Ltd are recruiting a Transport Planner for a busy operation in Stoke-on-Trent. This full-time role offers a temp-to-perm path, with a salary of £30,237.50 per year.

Shifts are Monday to Friday on a rotating pattern, starting early mornings and finishing in the evening, once trained rotations will vary. You will plan and coordinate transport activities, assign routes to drivers, and monitor vehicle movement throughout the day while communicating with drivers and

About the Role

The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join a busy transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous transport planning experienc e who are looking for a long term position with the potential to become permanent.

Shift Pattern

The role is Monday to Friday on a rotational shift pattern. Once fully trained, shifts will rotate between:

• 06:00am to 14:00pm
• 07:00am to 15:00pm
• 14:00pmm to 22:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating daily transport operations

• Monitoring vehicle and driver movements throughout the day
• Communicating effectively with drivers, customers and the wider transport team
• Ensuring transport schedules are managed efficiently and accurately

The Ideal Candidate

• Salary £30,237.50 per annum / £15.50ph
• Previous transport planning experience is essential
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced transport environment
