We are looking for a motivated problem-solver and collaborative professional to fill our Senior / Principal Transport Planner position with our Transport Policy & Solutions team. You’ll be working on exciting projects that make a real impact.
Our Transport Policy & Solutions team is at the heart of everything we do at Steer. We research, plan, deliver and evaluate initiatives which are designed to make best use of the existing transport network in order to support carbon reduction, air quality, road safety and quality of life objectives.
We help governments, industry leaders, and communities develop vision-led policies and integrated strategies that drive sustainable growth, inclusive communities, and more resilient and safer networks. Our expertise spans transport, mobility, economic development, spatial planning, digitisation, and decarbonisation, helping ensure that policy decisions are future-proof and impactful.
With shifting political, economic, and environmental pressures, long-term planning has never been more challenging. We work in partnership with agencies at all scales of government and their delivery partners, to navigate complexity, pioneering pragmatic, evidence-based solutions that embrace uncertainty rather than fear it.
Our team of planners and strategists balances creativity with real-world practicality, developing policies that respond to local needs, support economic growth, and improve quality of life.
