Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Immingham is seeking a Transport Planner to organise and coordinate daily transport operations across the UK. You will plan vehicle routes, allocate drivers and vehicles, and monitor operations to maintain excellent customer service and regulatory compliance.

The role requires knowledge of the UK road network, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with MS Office and transport planning systems. A proactive, team-based approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Transport Planner or Transport Coordinator role.
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport planning systems.
• Knowledge of driver hours and transport compliance legislation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule vehicle routes across the UK.
• Coordinate drivers and vehicles to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor daily transport operations and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours, WTD regulations, and policies.
• Liaise with drivers, customers and internal departments.
• Maximise vehicle utilisation and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate transport records and reporting.
• Support the transport team with planning activities.
