Job summary

Rehlko Uninterruptible Power Ltd. in Swansea is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join our fast-growing logistics team. You will ensure drivers follow tachograph rules, manage driver hours, plan routes, and allocate jobs using our planning system.

The role requires accuracy, knowledge of UK traffic laws, strong communication skills, and proficient computer literacy. We offer private healthcare, progression opportunities, and support from a supportive line manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning.
• Health and safety aware.
• Knowledge of UK traffic laws.
• Excellent communication skills across calls, emails and in person.
• Strong computer literacy and office software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure drivers follow tachograph rules and perform vehicle checks.
• Understand and enforce driver hours rules and compliance.
• Plan routes with consideration of weights and loads.
• Adhere to company Health & Safety and quality guidelines.
• Allocate jobs to drivers using our planning system.
• Answer phones and resolve queries from customers and drivers.
• Provide information to Supervisors and colleagues by phone, email or in person.
• Handle administration for drivers, including delivery notes and goods received.
• Assist Transport Manager in infringement meetings and take notes.
• Administer traffic offense paperwork and driver salary deduction forms.
• Identify and allocate vehicles to new drivers and ensure readiness.
