Job summary

Streamline Search is seeking a Transport Planner for our client in Portsmouth. The role covers route planning, driver support, customer bookings and admin to ensure smooth pallet network operations.

You will plan vehicle movements, coordinate with drivers and warehouse, and handle deliveries and collections while maintaining service levels. 1-in-4 Saturday duties on home-working basis are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning or logistics roles.
• Experience with route planning and coordinating movements.
• Good knowledge of the UK geography and road network.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with route planning and daily transport scheduling across pallet networks.
• Plan vehicles and movements for Isle of Wight deliveries (ADR awareness helpful).
• Coordinate with drivers and warehouse to resolve queries and issues.
• Book in customer deliveries and collections and monitor movements.
