Our client is looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our busy operations team.and support our Business in Ireland from their Redditch branch

The position involves engaging with clients and agents, tracking shipments, and processing customs declarations. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, be capable of functioning independently as well as collaboratively, have a back ground in organising Irish groupage trailers and possess knowledge of customs.

Key Tasks

• Handling customers consignments
• Liaising with the Warehouse and Transport teams
• Customer Services
• Costings
• Planning groupage trailers to Northern and Southern Ireland
• Customs declarations

Required Skills

• A proactive mentality

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to use own initiative
• Be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Telephone and email communication skills
• Must be proficient in the English language.

Salary dependent on experience.

Pay: 25- 30k
