Our client is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their busy operations team and support their business in Ireland from their Redditch branch.

The role involves engaging with clients and agents, tracking shipments, and processing customs declarations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be capable of working independently and as part of a team, have experience organising Irish groupage trailers, and possess knowledge of customs procedures.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Handling customer consignments
• Liaising with the Warehouse and Transport teams
• Providing customer service
• Costings
• Planning groupage trailers to Northern and Southern Ireland
• Processing customs declarations

Requirements for the Transport Planner:

• Ability to use own initiative
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent telephone and email communication skills
• Fluent in English
