THE ROLE:

Transport Planner

In this role, you will be part of the execution team at our depot in Ashby. You will communicate with internal and external customers regarding daily delivery performance and oversee the day-to-day planning operations of the Transport Department at Ashby. The position involves working on a 4 on 4 off rota during the day shift.

OFFICE BASED

This role is based at our site in Ashby-De-La-Zouch (LE65 1JR).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan resources to match the site workload.
• Track drivers on various TSP systems.
• Update the TMS (Mandata) system.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Qualifications: Level 2 in English & Maths.
• Experience: Experience working in a logistics environment, collaborating with drivers and teams to ensure smooth operations. Knowledge of Digital Tachographs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and stock software. Experience with telematics is advantageous. Management CPC is desirable.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients across diverse backgrounds.
• Influence & Persuasion: Ability to influence others and build strong stakeholder relationships.
