Pertemps West Bromwich is recruiting a Transport Planner in West Bromwich. The role focuses on day-to-day planning and coordination of transport operations to ensure efficient scheduling of vehicles and drivers and compliance with requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in transport planning, logistics or fleet operations, knowledge of vehicles and transport operations, and familiarity with CRM/transport management systems. Polish language is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring transport operations remain compliant with relevant company and legal requirements.
• Liaising with drivers, customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Dealing with transport related queries and operational issues.
• Completing general administration associated with transport planning and fleet operations.

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join our client based in West Bromwich.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized and proactive individual with previous experience within transport, logistics or fleet operations. The successful candidate will ideally have a good understanding of vehicles, transport compliance and transport planning, as well as being confident using CRM systems.

Polish speaking skills would be highly desirable for this position.

The Role

As a Transport Planner, you will support the day to day planning and coordination of transport operations, ensuring vehicles and drivers are scheduled efficiently, and all relevant compliance requirements are maintained.

• Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Start Time: 6:00am
• Potential: Opportunity for hours to increase
• Pay Rate: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour
