Strategic Route Optimisation: Plan and map out daily collection and delivery schedules to maximize cost-efficiency and ensure strict delivery windows are met.
Resource & Fleet Management: Allocate vehicles and drivers effectively while maintaining bulletproof compliance with Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations.
Operational Problem Solving: Act as the central point of contact, liaising smoothly between drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to handle real-time road challenges.
System Accuracy: Maintain up-to-date, precise transport management records and compliance logs.
Proven experience working in a fast-paced transport planning, traffic office, or logistics coordination environment.
Solid understanding of UK geography and a strong grasp of Working Time Regulations and Drivers' Hours compliance.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under pressure.
Strong IT literacy and familiarity with modern Transport Management Systems (TMS).
Competitive salary of GBP33,000 p.a.
