We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Clerk to join our long-established and growing Freight Logistics Company.

Working on our Traffic desk, you will be an integral part of our UK & European sub-contracting operation.

Key Responsibilities/Duties include:

1. Liaising with our Company Approved sub-contractors
2. Planning and allocating consignments, ensuring all data is created and processed accurately
3. Providing excellent communication with customers, sub-contractors, and colleagues
4. Dealing with client queries efficiently and with care
5. General transport administration

Key skills and experience required for this role:

• Experience within a Haulage environment, ideally dealing with subcontractors
• Minimum of 2 years office experience
• Computer literate
• Good geographical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills - verbal & written
• Ability to follow work procedures
• Attention to detail is paramount
