Transport Planner Job Description

Are you ready to take your logistics career to the next level? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where every day is different? Can you ensure efficiency and compliance while making a real impact? Our client is currently looking for a Transport Planner to join their busy team in Tilbury.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating routes for a large fleet of HGV vehicles in and around London
• Monitoring driver performance
• Maintaining accurate transport records
• Ensuring compliance with all regulations
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Addressing enquiries and complaints professionally
• Assisting with driver debriefs
• Providing reports and updates to the Site Manager

This is a standalone role requiring experience in planning multiple drops on routes in and around London and the Southern area for 20-40 HGV vehicles.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 9:00pm. Say goodbye to shifts and weekend work!

Transport Planner Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and pressurised environment
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, including EU tachograph requirements and Working Time
• Excellent communication skills with a range of stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency in transportation management software
