Role Responsibility

As a Transport Planner, you will support the Operations team by managing daily route planning of our transport fleet, ensuring maximum utilisation and efficiency in transporting plant equipment safely and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, route, and coordinate the logistics of Low Loaders and Sprayers.
• Manage changes based on demand and communicate plans effectively.
• Schedule store runs for refueling equipment.
• Coordinate with external transport providers for coverage and rates.
• Oversee inspections, MOTs, servicing, and driver holidays.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain haulage records and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Update internal systems and prepare transportation reports.
• Participate in 'Out of Hours' on-call rota from 18:00-23:00.
