Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Transport Planner in Chilwell, Nottingham. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:30am to 5:30pm. The hourly rate is £14.42, and the position offers on-site canteen, free parking, and good public transport links.

You will optimise loads using a TMS, ensure KPI targets are met, and drive margins by proactive planning and backhaul opportunities. Experience in freight forwarding or network planning is essential.

• Ensuring service levels are delivered through collaboration with the Sub Con operation to maximise KPI for customers.
• Maintaining high data accuracy in the TMS for all fleet planning activities.

Staffline is recruiting Transport Planners in Chilwell, Nottingham.

The rate of pay is £14.42 per hour.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:

• 7:30am to 5:30pm

Your Time at Work

As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for:

• All assets are utilised in line with KPI targets
• Ensuring that service is delivered through proactive and accurate planning of loads
• Driving margin by fully utilizing TMS functionality and then enhancing results through proactively sourcing further backhaul opportunities to maximise fleet utilisation
• Ensuring service levels are delivered through working collaboratively with the Sub Con operation to maximise the overall service delivery KPI for customers
• Maintaining a high data accuracy in the TMS for all fleet planning activities, avoiding retrospective administration

Our perfect worker will be an industrious and busy individual with an affinity for a time-pressurised environment. You will have good systems skills and be comfortable with modern digital systems and the application of data, combined with general large fleet operation experience
