GXO Logistics, Inc. in Warrington seeks a Transport Optimisation Specialist to design smarter transport solutions for the B&Q operation, using data to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.

This full-time role is Monday–Friday with flexible hours within office times. The package includes a £55,000 salary, 25 days leave, a pension, private medical and dental, life assurance and GXO University for development.

Qualifications

• Experience within a transport, planning or optimisation environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
• Confidence working with stakeholders and influencing decisions.
• Experience with transport modelling tools, with a superuser level of Paragon highly desirable.
• Knowledge of transport operations, cost control and efficiency improvements.
• A proactive mindset - someone who questions, challenges and improves.

Responsibilities

Here at GXO Warrington we are looking for aTransport Optimisation Specialistto join our B&Q operation. This isn't your typical planning role - you'll be at the heart of designing smarter, more efficient transport solutions, using data to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement. You'll be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking team where your ideas and insights will genuinely shape how we operate.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required - but it's a two-way street. We'll support flexibility in your working hours within office hours too this is logistics after all!
