Pertemps Bond is hiring a Traffic Operator for our busy transport team in Stowmarket. This ongoing temp role offers a 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday to Friday schedule with PAYE pay at £13.33 per hour, onsite with full training provided and opportunities to increase pay based on performance.

The role involves dispatching drivers, filing and housekeeping of paperwork, and resolving driver queries while coordinating with customers and colleagues to execute the day plan.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for accurate driver dispatch and paperwork.
• Strong time management to keep the day plan on track.
• Excellent communication with drivers and stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a transport environment with basic IT tools.

Responsabilités

• Dispatching and debriefing drivers to execute the day plan.
• Paperwork housekeeping to keep records up to date.
• Resolve issues and driver queries promptly.
• Support the transport office in daily operations.

We are hiring for a Traffic Operator to join our busy transport team in Stowmarket!

This is a great ongoing temp opportunity with a global supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching and debriefing drivers
• Paperwork housekeeping
• Helping to resolve issues and disputes, including driver queries
• Executing the day plan

The main skills we are looking for are:

• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Great team player
• Confident working alone
• Transport knowledge desirable
• Excellent communication skills - you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
• Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook

You will be a vital part of the transport office team, dealing with drivers as well as the customer and your colleagues.

Previous transport planning or transport admin experience is preferable but not essential.

Full training is provided.

Shift Details

• Monday to Friday
• 6AM-3PM
• PAYE - £13.33 per hour
• Opportunity available for the right candidate to increase this based on performance and ability to pick up additional tasks.
