The Role We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Operator to join our Continental Operations Team . You will play a key role in coordinating intermodal transport planning across Europe , maintaining high levels of communication, adaptability and attention to detail. This position requires strong collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to deliver operational excellence and provide a customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery/loading times are achieved through effective planning, problem-solving, and consistent communication with all parties involved.
• Plan and coordinate shipments in advance, securing required transport space and ensuring customer requirements are met or exceeded.
• Liaise with suppliers, internal departments and customer service teams to ensure booking instructions are clear, timely, and accurately communicated.
• Execute daily operational tasks with a strong understanding of their financial impact , maintaining accurate and timely updates in internal systems.
• Proactively identify and communicate any shipment anomalies, volume fluctuations, and customs-related events to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor urgent and time-sensitive orders, ensuring timely arrivals at terminals and escalating any delays or non-arrivals to avoid disruption.
• Communicate significant delays or short shipments promptly, offering alternatives and obtaining approval for any additional costs.
