Job summary

GXO Logistics in Northampton is seeking a Transport Supervisor to lead a fast-paced network, with travel to Swadlincote and other national depots. You will supervise a team, analyse performance, and coordinate across multiple sites.

The role requires a strong operational background and problem-solving skills. The position offers a 4 on, 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern, with a salary up to £33,000 per year, plus a robust benefits package including pension, private medical and dental insurance, and

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory, team leader, FLM, or operational leadership role is essential.
• Background in warehousing, logistics, transport, distribution, or another fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and support sites to achieve customer service and operational targets.
• Identify operational issues, investigate trends, and drive effective resolutions.
• Analyse operational and financial data to support performance improvements across the network.
• Coordinate communication and reporting between multiple sites and stakeholders.
• Manage compliance-related activities, PCN reporting, and asset control processes.
