Job summary

Bis Henderson Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor with a CPC to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced FMCG logistics environment. You will supervise daily transport and warehouse operations, allocate fleet and crews to routes, and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience at Supervisor level or equivalent within a FMCG operation.
• Transport Manager CPC is essential.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation.
• Proficiency in transport management systems and route planning software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily transport and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop the team.
• Allocate fleet and crews to correct routes.
• Ensure briefing and de-briefings are undertaken for all transport and warehouse movements.
• Manage your teams performance and ensure relevant information is recorded for your KPIs.
• Manage drivers' hours in line with working time legislation.
