Job Title: Transport Office Administrator

Location: Purfleet, Essex

Salary: Depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

The Company:

As a family business, our goal is to offer a personal and caring service to all our clients and their freight movements, something that is often overlooked in today's market by many operators. We pride ourselves on providing good customer service, which costs only time and pride.

The Role:

Previous experience within the transport industry is required. Applicants should have basic computer skills, with training provided on our systems, and possess a good phone manner to handle customer queries. Hours are 9:30 am - 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

The Transport Office Administrator will join our current transport office team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Handling driver issues
  • Booking jobs onto the computer system
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Maintain a positive company image when dealing with customers by phone or in person
  • Gain knowledge of company processes and procedures
The Candidate:

The role is suited to an individual who is motivated, confident, and eager to learn.
