Job summary

Flogas Britain is looking for a Transport Manager to oversee vehicle-based operations at the Hallen Terminal as part of the Southwest Operational team. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will manage site drivers and drive a strong safety culture in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate vehicle maintenance, driver hours and tachographs, ensuring compliance with WTD and regulations while supporting the LPG supply chain from inbound to onward movement.

Qualifications

• Manager CPC qualification in Road Transport.
• Experience in management of drivers.
• Full driving licence.
• Willingness to work additional hours (including some weekend working).
• Ability to work in a team or on own initiative.
• Positive attitude towards safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drivers at the site in accordance with business and legislative requirements.
• Support safety management to meet compliance and foster a safety culture.
• Ensure transport compliance: vehicle maintenance, drivers hours, tachograph regulations, WTD, and accurate records.
• Follow Flogas operating procedures and works instructions.
• Promote professional and positive team work.
• Operate in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
