Job Title: Transport Manager
Locations: Lancaster
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

Duties:

1. Lead the day-to-day haulage operations, ensuring full compliance with legal, industry, and health & safety standards.
2. Provide strong and visible leadership to cross-functional site teams, including drivers and transport office personnel.
3. Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring consistent service delivery and proactive communication.
4. Drive P&L accountability, aligning resource planning with both operational demands and financial objectives.
5. Foster a high-performance culture by leading, mentoring, and developing team members across all levels.
6. Ensure strict adherence to DVSA guidelines, O-Licence conditions, tachograph usage, and working time directive compliance.
