Job Title: Transport Manager
Location: Lancaster
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

Responsibilities:

1. Lead daily haulage operations, ensuring compliance with legal, industry, and health & safety standards.
2. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, including drivers and transport office staff.
3. Maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring consistent service and proactive communication.
4. Manage P&L responsibilities, aligning resources with operational and financial goals.
5. Develop a high-performance culture through leadership, mentoring, and staff development.
6. Ensure adherence to DVSA guidelines, O-Licence conditions, tachograph regulations, and working time directives.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in Transport & Operations Management
• Knowledge of Transport Compliance
• Staff Management, Route Planning, Cost Saving Strategies
• CPC Certification (required)
