We are looking for a reliable and experienced Transport Manager to join our specialist team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all vehicles in the fleet are regularly maintained and roadworthy.
• Performing regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assigning and overseeing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring that all drivers are properly trained and qualified.
• Maintaining accurate records for each vehicle and the cargo transported.
• Overseeing the planning and scheduling of routes to optimise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
• Monitoring transportation costs and finding ways to reduce expenses.
• Managing all aspects of the O Licence including legal compliance, tachograph rules, and driver infringements.
• Dealing with driver disciplinaries where necessary.
• Ensuring all transport and health and safety requirements are met.
• Managing all levels of fleet maintenance and scheduling repairs when necessary.
• Booking in transport and admin.

Requirements

• Experience within a similar role is essential.
• International Transport Management CPC.
• Flexible and reliable with a good attitude.
• Team player.
