Due to company growth, we are looking for a Transport Manager to join our expanding fleet department.

Responsibilities:

1. Driver Tachograph Analysis: Support the transport manager with tachograph analysis using Tacho Master, including WTD vs Driver hours, weekly vehicle tachograph checks, and ensuring compliance with legislation and working time directives.
2. Daily Defects and Walk Around Checks: Ensure defects are accounted for, completed, and updated in the system. Liaise with the hire desk for external hires. Escalate unresolved defects daily to the transport manager.
3. Vehicle Inspections and MOT: Support the transport manager in maintaining records of inspections, services, MOTs, and taxes to facilitate scheduled maintenance.
4. Driver Licenses: Check driver licenses for points and disqualifications in line with insurance requirements.
5. Scheduling: Coordinate pre-planned inspections, services, and MOTs, liaising with relevant managers and booking into workshops to ensure all appointments are met.

Performance Measures (KPIs):

• Timely updates on scheduling passed to managers.
• Accurate input and reporting of daily defects to the transport manager.
• Effective vehicle maintenance planning.
