Job summary

Veolia Group in Marchwood is seeking a Transport Manager to lead a team of 6 HGV drivers and ensure compliant, efficient transport operations. The role focuses on strategic route allocation, routine supervision, and maintaining excellent regulatory standards.

You will oversee fleet maintenance, O-licence administration, and maintain thorough admin records as directed. A CPC is essential, with desirable ADR knowledge and safety certifications.

• Ensure full legal and QHSE compliance in line with statutory regulations and company policies.
• Execute strategic route planning and driver allocation to optimize service delivery.
• Manage fleet maintenance providers and oversee O-Licence administration.
• Conduct site inductions, investigations, and maintain robust administrative records as per management instructions.

What you'll be doing:

What we're looking for:

Essential:

• Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for Transport Managers

Desirable:

• IOSH Managing Safely.


• HGV Class 2 License.


• Knowledge of ADR Regulations
