Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Morden for a Transport Manager at EDE'S (UK) LTD. The Transport Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations related to transportation management, fleet management, and ensuring efficient customer service in business relocations and storage services.

We are seeking someone that maybe recently qualified or has some experience in a related field/industry and is willing to be trained.

Job Requirements

Essential: CPC certificate awarded by Department of Transport

• Proven Transportation Management skills and/or less than one year experience
• Customer Service and Communication abilities
• Fleet Management experience
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and co-ordinating skills
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and laws related to transportation
• Experience in logistics
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills, or desire to manage and implement strategies to improve efficiency
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Oversee the maintenance and management of the transport fleet, including vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance operational practices.
