Job summary

PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. in East Kilbride is seeking a proactive Transport Manager to lead a safe, compliant, and high-performing transport operation. You will manage drivers, fleet, and resources to deliver excellent service while meeting KPIs and controlling costs.

The role requires hands-on leadership, route planning, regulatory knowledge (Health & Safety, GDP), and strong stakeholder management to support depot KPIs and overall performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing delivery drivers and a commercial vehicle fleet.
• Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety, transport compliance, and GDP standards.
• Confident people manager with experience in absence, discipline, and performance management.
• Highly organised with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Results-focused, dependable, and calm under pressure, with a hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

37.5 hours, working Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, with flexibility required

We’re looking for a proactive Transport Manager to lead a safe, compliant, and high-performing transport operation. You’ll manage drivers, fleet, and resources to deliver excellent customer service while meeting KPIs, controlling costs, and operating fully within regulatory and GDP requirements.

The heart of the role
