Transport Manager

Our well-established client working within the haulage industry is looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Transport Manager to join their flourishing team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all vehicles in the fleet are regularly maintained and roadworthy.
• Performing regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assigning and overseeing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring all drivers are properly trained and qualified.
• Maintaining accurate records for each vehicle and the cargo transported.
• Overseeing route planning and scheduling to optimise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
• Monitoring transportation costs and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Managing all aspects of the O Licence including legal compliance, tachograph rules, and driver infringements.
• Dealing with driver disciplinaries when necessary.
• Ensuring all transport and health and safety requirements are met.
• Managing fleet maintenance and scheduling repairs as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• International Transport Management CPC.
• Results-driven and goal-oriented.
• Flexible, reliable, and with a positive attitude.
• Team player.
