Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking an experienced Transport Team Leader for our busy Doncaster site. You will lead a team, plan and run the transport operation, and support a shift team to meet KPI targets. This is a full-time, permanent role with an 'any 5 from 7' shift pattern, 14:00–22:00.

You will earn up to £30,000 per year, with 25 days’ annual leave, a pension, cycle-to-work scheme, GXO University training, and other employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to take ownership and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work as a team to deliver operational performance and maintain site systems and processes.
• Plan and run the operation efficiently, supporting people management and overseeing drivers, agency staff and support staff.
• Support the Transport Shift Manager to ensure KPI targets are met.
• Collaborate with the management team to optimise performance and build productive relationships.
