Job summary

Culina Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CIP across transport and logistics operations in the Wakefield or Appleton/Warrington area. You will drive efficiency, cost optimisation and service improvements, applying CIP and Lean methods to deliver measurable business benefits.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, with responsibilities including leading projects, developing transport strategy, analysing KPIs, coaching teams and embedding a continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience leading Continuous Improvement in transport/logistics environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and CIP tools.
• Ability to coach managers and frontline teams in improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead transport and logistics improvement projects across the operation.
• Develop and execute the transport strategy aligned with customer needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet utilisation and routing.
• Analyse KPIs and performance data to drive service improvements.
• Collaborate with Transport Management to prioritise improvements.
• Apply CIP and Lean methods to deliver productivity and cost gains.
• Engage with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure best practices.
• Coach teams in Continuous Improvement tools and methods.
• Develop and maintain CIP policies, procedures and goals.
