Job summary

Stobart, part of the Culina Group, seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead transformation across transport, fleet and warehousing interfaces. You will champion CIP initiatives, drive cost optimisation and enhance customer satisfaction, while coaching teams in Lean tools and problem-solving.

The role supports delivering strategic transport projects with measurable business benefits across Wakefield or Appleton (Warrington) locations, working Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within Transport, Logistics or Supply Chain operations.
• Strong Continuous Improvement background with practical Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM).
• Experience delivering projects in fast-paced logistics environments.
• Track record of improving transport efficiency and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead transport and logistics improvement projects across the operation, delivering objectives and benefits.
• Support development and execution of the transport strategy aligned with customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet utilization and route optimisation.
• Analyse transport performance data and implement corrective actions to drive service improvements.
• Apply CIP and Lean methodologies to deliver productivity and cost savings.
