Palletforce is seeking a fully qualified HGV Class 2 Driver for a full-time role in Newbury. You will deliver products to customers, conduct daily vehicle checks, and manage handheld terminals while maintaining safety and accuracy. The role includes occasional 3.5t vehicle duties during peaks and weekend work.
Ideal candidates hold Class 2 (C+E) and valid CPC, plus a Digital Tacho Card. Refrigeration/multi-drop experience is advantageous and CPC training is valued.
Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce Logistics, and as a fully qualified Class 2 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.
This role will be based at our site in Newbury.
Class 2 Driving Licence (C+E), Valid CPC, Digital Tacho Card. HGV/LGC Class licence.
Previous experience is essential. Refrigeration and multi drop experience would be beneficial. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers.
You will be adaptable in your start and finish times and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
