Job summary

Innovate UK Business Connect is seeking a Knowledge Transfer Manager to lead transport infrastructure programmes and drive collaboration between industry and government. The role requires strategic leadership across EV charging, zero emission fleets, and maritime projects.

The post holder will embed digital and physical infrastructure, work with senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable impact for UK transport and industry. This is a fixed-term 18‑month contract based in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport infrastructure environments (maritime, HGVs, EV charging) or related sectors.
• Experience in operating within an innovation ecosystem.
• Experience in managing/leading projects or programmes.
• Experience with government policies and research/innovation strategies.
• Excellent written communication across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple transport programmes and embed digital/physical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with senior industry/government reps to drive knowledge transfer.
• Deliver and monitor project outcomes and impact against government goals.
• Draft correspondence, presentations, meeting minutes, and reports with technical context.
• Identify opportunities to design activities that drive business transformation.
