NewCold is hiring a Transport Coordinator on a maternity cover basis in Corby. You will manage outbound logistics, brief drivers, and adjust plans to meet schedules and KPIs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in transport, HGV logistics experience, and strong IT and communication skills. The role offers a fixed-term contract with supportive teams and opportunities to develop within a growing global business.

Qualificações

• 5+ GCSEs or equivalent.
• 3 years of Transport experience.
• Experience in HGV transport logistics or traffic administration.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with drivers, customers and colleagues.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Provide drivers with comprehensive briefings before shifts, outlining tasks and safety requirements.
• Make real-time adjustments to transport plans to ensure effective factory clearance and deliveries.
• Carry out administrative traffic duties accurately and professionally.
• Monitor transportation schedules and proactively resolve issues.
• Coordinate with the wider traffic team for efficient operations.
• Escalate and report vehicle accidents to line management.
