JDR - Just Dynamic Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transport coordinator in Chester le street for a temporary maternity cover role. The position runs Monday to Friday with day shifts and an immediate start.

The successful candidate will plan daily routes, ensure on-time deliveries, and manage driver workloads while keeping clear records and customer communications. This role offers a quick start and potential future opportunities for the right person.

Responsabilités

• Plan daily delivery routes across designated areas.
• Ensure shipments meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Post loads, book transport, track shipments, and manage documentation.
• Resolve transport issues quickly and efficiently.
• Manage drivers' workloads in line with WTD legislation.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate updates to drivers and customers.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport coordinator to join our growing client in Chester le street.

This role is a temporary position for a minimum of 6 months to cover maternity leave, however may be more opportunities for the right candidate.

This is an immediate start.

Monday - Friday , day shift hours.

Duties Include

• Planning daily delivery routes from Bamburgh , down to Darlington and across to the Lake District.
• Ensure all shipments and Customer requirements, timelines are met
• Use platform to post loads, book transport, track shipments and manage documentation
• Resolve transport issues quickly and efficiently.
• Managing drivers work loads in line with WTD legislation
• Maintain accurate records and communicate updates to drivers and customers

Requirements

• Recent experience of working within transport planning, particularly arranging routes.
• Good geographical knowledge of the area mentioned
• Well organised, with attention to detail
• Calm under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
