Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Transport Coordinator to oversee the complete transport and logistics operations from our Service Centre, building strong relationships and expanding product knowledge to serve customers effectively.

You will be the ambassador of our Customer First culture, resolving issues quickly and keeping customers informed so they feel valued. This role demands excellent communication, teamwork and hands-on involvement in daily delivery operations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a role where you can demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.
• Great communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT/Computer skills.
• MS Office including Excel and Outlook & experience of database entry.
• Highly organised and able to work under pressure.
• Previous experience in the hire or construction industry would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• To understand and ensure that the team comply with all company and departmental rules, safe systems of work and quality procedures
• Ensuring company policies & procedures are enforced
• Physically assist in all aspects of the daily delivery operations if / when required
• To carry out annual driving licence checks, driver declaration forms and monitor vehicle tracking activities and report
