Job summary

Booker is seeking a Transport Supervisor to lead a busy delivery operation, managing day-to-day activities and a team of drivers and pickers to achieve daily targets while delivering excellent customer service.

The role stresses safety, compliance and brand standards; you will assist the delivery manager to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and staff adhere to company policies, with emphasis on teamwork and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a small to medium sized team in warehouse or transport.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
• Management CPC would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Delivered Department is compliant with Company policy and procedures.
• Communicate important management information to all relevant team members.
• Supervise and maintain a safe working environment for all colleagues and customers, reporting Health & Safety concerns.
