Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Transport Administrator to help keep our busy transport operation running smoothly in Middlewich (CW10 0GY). You will work 4 on/4 off, 10:00–22:00, coordinating daily admin and supporting service delivery while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires flexibility to cover alternative shifts and meet operational needs. A security clearance, including BPSS and a 5-year check, is required for this site.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport administration or logistics is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible to work 4 on 4 off shifts and alternative times.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily administration activities to support service delivery.
• Manage vehicle tracking, servicing schedules, defect reporting, and VOR processes.
• Support drivers during shifts, conduct pre- and de-briefs, issue paperwork, act as first point of contact.
• Collaborate with transport managers, drivers, customers and operations teams to ensure safety and compliance.
