Pertemps Leeds is seeking a Transport Coordinator to support a busy logistics operation from a small transport office in Dalton. The role is full-time on a temporary basis with potential to become permanent, paying £13.50 per hour, with Monday to Friday hours 9:30am–5:30pm and some flexibility.

You will assist the First Line Manager, greet drivers, process paperwork, and handle admin tasks while keeping transport records up to date.

Qualificações

• You’ll ideally have previous experience in a transport, logistics or supply chain environment.
• Comfortable using computers and transport systems.
• Experience with Microlise or a similar Transport Management System.
• Be organised and able to keep on top of paperwork.
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and comfortable dealing with drivers.
• Reliable, practical and willing to get involved.

Responsabilidades

Transport Coordinator Location: Thirsk Pay: £13.50 per hour Contract: Temp to Perm Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm, some flexibility may be required We’re currently looking for a Transport Coordinator to join a busy logistics and supply chain business based in Thirsk. You’ll be working as part of a small transport office supporting a 24/7 operation, with around 30 drivers, 9 trucks and 2 shunters . This is a hands on role where you’ll work closely with the First Line Manager and help keep the day to day transport operation running smoothly.

About you
