Role Overview

As a Transport Coordinator, you'll play a key role at the centre of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite M&S food.

Shift Patterns

Our operation in Chesterfield is looking for candidates who can commit to one of the following shift patterns:

• Sunday - Thursday (11:00 - 19:00)
• Tuesday - Saturday (08:00 - 16:00)

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

1. Brief and debrief drivers, acting as the first point of contact for all driver queries and feedback.
2. Ensure legal license compliance and operational excellence, including cost and service delivery, especially during peak times.
3. Provide high-level customer care and resolve or escalate live issues.
4. Monitor routes to ensure timeliness and escalate issues to the shift Team Manager when necessary.
5. Manage time effectively to complete tasks within set deadlines, using Kronos exceptions and schedules.
6. Handle daily administrative tasks related to payroll, holidays, and related queries.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a busy transport environment, be proficient in PC applications such as Word and Excel, and possess strong attention to detail.
